The 2024 TLX houses a direct injected 272-HP1 VTEC® turbocharged engine that delivers torque down low and through the entire rev range. It’s paired with a 10 speed transmission for quicker acceleration, sharper throttle response, and seamless gear changes.
Precision Handling
Superior performance needs superior stopping power. The highly sophisticated electro-servo brake system derived directly from the NSX supercar is incorporated in the TLX for precision braking through corners.
Reshaping Performance
The Type S is designed to direct airflow for maximized performance. The lower front splitter helps generate downforce for more traction while the Open Surface Diamond Pentagon Grille feeds air into the powerful turbo V6. The rear spoiler and lower diffuser work together to smooth airflow and reduce lift. Sculpted for speed, the TLX Type S demands to be driven.
Leather-Trimmed Interior
Premium Full-Grain Milano leather trim provides an ultra-refined feel that befits a high-end sport sedan. The ergonomic sport seats are well-bolstered for both comfort and support and are available with Ultrasuede®-trim for a performance look you can feel.

Every TLX comes with Apple CarPlay® 3 compatibility, so you have access to your phone right on your vehicle’s center display with the True Touchpad Interface™. Send and receive messages, listen to music, and get directions by voice via Siri® with your compatible iPhone®.
